Mount Zero Wholegrain Freekeh is an ancient grain made from young green wheat that is traditionally roasted over wood fires, dried and rubbed to remove the husk. Retaining the whole grain gives it a nutty flavour and pleasantly chewy texture suited to salads, pilafs, soups, grain bowls and risotto-style dishes. It is naturally high in fibre and protein and has a low glycaemic index. The 500g product is packed in a home-compostable resealable pouch. Contains wheat and gluten.
